WHO WE ARE

My Reason® is a genomic research program by Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA) and its subsidiary, Frenova, a site management organization. Frenova is drawing upon its research network to help build the My Reason program.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

We are building a health database with diverse, de-identified genomic and clinical data to help researchers better understand the causes and potential treatments for kidney disease and associated diseases. The My Reason genomic research program has the potential to change the future of kidney patients with better treatments and more precise care, and we invite you to be a part of it. WHY WE ARE DOING IT

There are 37 million Americans living with kidney disease, and it affects more than 1 in 7 American adults. Yet, over the last 15 years kidney disease research has only made up a small percentage of clinical trials. The My Reason health database can help us change this by becoming an invaluable research tool in accelerating findings and innovation in the world of kidney disease and related conditions.
